Write at least three measurable learning outcomes for a hypothetical unit of study and grade level of your choosing.
1. The students will write their alphabet by first copying the letters that are dotted (shaded).
2. Then by using the dotted lined paper, a copy of the alphabet is the next step.
3. Finally, suing letters in the alphabet the students then can construct a word or words in the remainder of the paper.
Develop at least three test items that support your outcomes, and write at least one essay item that supports your outcomes.
1. The students will be given a sheet with multiple lines and mixed letters. They will circle all of the letters in a line that I ask them to circle by calling them out to the class.
2. The students will then match the uppercase letters with the lowercase letters.
3. Students will be given cut out letters that they will sort out. Then they will glue the letters on another sheet of paper that is missing some letters and has some letters already written on it.
4. The Essay question will start with having the students working with the letters on a shaded sheet of lettered paper. They will copy the letters as carefully and as neatly as possible. The students will pass based on how neatly they copy their letters on the paper.
